Spectators at this year’s 24-hour race at the Nurburgring had the chance to admire the first creation of the G-POWER Motorsport Division. The G-POWER M3 GT2 S is aimed specifically at customers looking for a vehicle along the lines of the Porsche 911 GT3 RS, but has thus far been unable to find one in the BMW product line-up – thoroughbred racing technology combined with exceptional performance and fully road legal. In answer to this demand, G-POWER presents the G-POWER M3 TORNADO CS as the civilian version of the imposing G-POWER M3 GT2 S.
More than a quarter of a century ago, the history of G-POWER began with the modification of BMW 02 models for competition use. Today, this tradition is carried forward by the G-POWER Motorsport Division established at the beginning of 2010. The function of this newly founded department includes comprehensive care of our motorsport customers, as well as the development of the associated sports equipment. The spectrum ranges from reduced-weight and increased-performance road-legal M3 models for “private” track laps to full-blooded racing versions of the M3 with dry weight down to 1,300 kg and output of more than 700 hp, complete with all the associated kit required by private motorsports teams.
A BMW for sale X5 M feels brawny. The thick steering wheel offers plenty of grip for your hands and road feedback, while its mighty heart, a twin-turbo V-8, pulses powerfully under the hood. In full M mode, BMW for sale X5 shows its Hulk brute force, the engine roaring in anger and its muscular tires keeping it planted firmly on the ground.
Previously, BMW kept the M badge reserved for its coupes and sedans, but the X5 M deserves the honor. It is pure violence, a powerful beast of German engineering. Before this car came along, the Porsche Cayenne GTS was the only SUV that really brought sports car performance to the segment.
Except for the 20-inch alloy wheels, from the side the X5 M looks conventional. But its front shows the car’s brute character explicitly, with a ridiculous amount of big vents containing black honeycombs surrounding the traditional BMW kidney grille and lining the area below the bumper. Four pipes stick out of its back, confirming the M badge on the tailgate.
BMW handling is always a delight, like how a BMW for sale 650i Convertible keeps in line with the brand. Navigation system maps offer excellent resolution and terrain features, and also show traffic. The 2010 BMW 650i Convertible delivers the luxury and sporting character we expect from BMW, with generally excellent cabin tech, but a future model update should improve the engine and exterior design.
The 2008 BMW for sale 3-Series line, anchored by the 328i, the 335i, and the all-wheel-drive 328xi and 335xi, gets only minor changes, but added a high-performance M3 at midyear. Four body styles are offered: coupe, sedan, wagon, and a retractable-hardtop convertible. The 328i is available in all body styles. The 328xi is offered in all but the convertible. The 335i is offered in all but the wagon, and the 335xi comes as a coupe and a sedan. The new M3 comes in coupe, sedan, or convertible form. M3s are powered by a 414-hp 4.0-liter V8. All other 3-Series models have a 3.0-liter inline 6-cylinder engine. In 328 models it makes 230 hp; in 335s it’s turbocharged for 300 hp. All have a standard 6-speed manual transmission. A 6-speed automatic is optional on most 3-Series models, and a 7-speed automatic is available on the M3. ABS, traction control, antiskid system, and front side airbags are standard on all models. Curtain side airbags that cover both seating rows are standard on all but convertibles. Standard on convertibles are rollover bars designed to deploy from the rear headrests if sensors detect an impending tip.
